PREAMBLE
These By-laws govern the affairs of the Liberian Initiative for Transformation and Enlightenment (LITE), a nonprofit
corporation organized under the Non-Profit Corporation Law of California.
We, the members and founders of Liberia Initiative for Transformation and Enlightenment (LITE) residing in the USA, recognizing the need to form a legal entity to pursue development goals and objectives for the economic and social advancement of our common heritage, Liberia, and recognizing the many needs of the people and the prevalence of poverty amongst the people of Liberia, agree to organize ourselves for the sole purpose of providing assistance, helping the needy, giving back to the people Liberia who for no fault of theirs find themselves in this predicament do establish this constitution which shall guide every structure and activities of the Liberia Initiative for Transformation and Enlightenment (LITE) Organization.
