Liberia Initiative for Transformation and Enlightenment (LITE) is a non-profit corporation and shall be operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code. 

 

LITE is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, nonpartisan, nongovernmental organization. A development and social service organization committed to helping the needy people of Liberia to improve their lives and achieve better living.

Goals and Objectives 

This organization recognizing the need of the people of Liberia will: 

• Undertake development projects to bring relief to the poverty stricken. 

• To provide food and clothing assistance. 

• Promote self-improvement and encourage individual entrepreneurial program. 

• To solicit volunteers professional services such as doctors, nurses, engineers and other professionals to donate time to undertake projects in Liberia.
